LTN
LTN is a long-established German precision sensing brand founded in 1979 in Munich (brand operations now in nearby Ottobrunn), currently part of the HEIDENHAIN Group, with brushless resolvers as its core field. Its operating entity, LTN Servotechnik GmbH, ceased business on April 30, 2026, with HEIDENHAIN continuing production and global sales of the product line since October 2025. Wear-free and maintenance-free, its resolvers withstand sharp temperature fluctuations, heavy vibration, and shock, delivering absolute position within a single revolution, and are widely used in servo motors, industrial robots, machine tools, heavy equipment, and wind-turbine pitch systems as the most common position feedback component in high-end motion control after optical encoders.
INFINEON
Infineon Technologies AG is a renowned German IDM semiconductor company, spun off from Siemens' semiconductor segment in April 1999, headquartered in Neubiberg near Munich and listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It is a global leader in power and automotive semiconductors, holding the number-one share of the global automotive semiconductor market for six consecutive years since 2020, with main products including automotive MCUs, IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN wide-bandgap devices, sensors, and security chips, all engineered for high reliability. Its products are widely used in new energy vehicles, solar and energy storage, industrial drives, server power supplies, and IoT security. With Greater China as a core market, its 2020 acquisition of Cypress expanded its memory and embedded product lines, cementing its position in the energy transition and vehicle electrification.
